Italian Beginners

The group started with no knowledge of Italian and have been working together for the last 2 years. We use published courses in both audio and book form.

Meets: 2^nd and 4^th Thursday 10 a.m. at leader's home.

Costs: No costs.

4 members in group. No vacancies at present. We feel that anyone trying to join the group would have difficulty matching the standard we have now reached. There is therefore a short waiting list and assistance will be given for starting "Beginners 2" when there are sufficient wanting to join.

Italian Conversation

The members all have good conversational Italian and prepare a topic to present at each meeting, which is followed by a general discussion. Nothing is very formal and we normally end up having a general chat about anything and everything - in Italian as much as possible.

Meets: At members' homes
Group 1: 2^nd and 4^th Mondays, 2 p.m.
Group 2: 2^nd and 4^th Mondays, 10 a.m.

Costs: None - host provides tea, coffee, biscuits, etc.

Up to 6 members in each group. No vacancies in Group 2 at present.
A waiting list will be formed and help will be offered to start a new group.
