Are you interested in researching local history? Haveyou ever wondered about the road you live in? When was it built and who used to live there? OR..... how DID Orpington get developed? When and by whom? AND.... what role did the railway have in expanding the town? OR … why is the Parish Church up a hill...?
SO many questions and we hope we can use old maps, census information and other documents to find some answers.

Meets: 4th Friday, 2-4 p.m. in members' homes. From June at Orpington Fire Station Community Room, Avalon Road, BR6 9AX .
Costs: There may be periodic contributions to the tes/coffee fund.
