Book-Ends
Members take it in turns to choose and introduce a book. Most members begin by providing biographical details of the author and then start the discussion by saying what they liked or disliked about it.
Meets: 4th Thursday, 2 - 4 p.m. at the home of member choosing the book for that month
Costs: 30p tea/coffee and biscuits

Books I've Loved
We discuss and share our favourite books plus current reading that we have enjoyed. No specific book to be read.
Meets: Last Friday, 10 a.m. in members' homes
Costs: 30p for tea and biscuits

Bookworms
A long established group, who explore authors we would probably not otherwise read. Books supplied by Bromley Libraries. Twice a year book sale at general U3A meeting to raise funds for new library books.
Meets: 4th Monday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. revolve around members' homes
Costs: None. Host provides coffee and biscuits mid-morning

Book 3
Books are supplied by St. Paul's Cray Library and cover a wide range of authors from classics to modern. Members take it in turn to return books and pick up the next selection.
Meets: 2nd Tuesday, 10.30 a.m. - 12 a.m. at a member's home.
Costs: None at present.

Book 4 - Foreword
Our group has been going strong since 2005. We are a lively bunch, needless to say we enjoy reading and this has engendered friendship. Orpington Library provide a wide variety of literature, so that we find we often delve into authors previously unknown to us. This diversity we find stimulating and intellectually challenging, but never a bore.
Meets: 4th Monday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Orpington Library
Costs: £15 per term, to cover room and refreshments

Book 5
We are a friendly book club, who are given a list by the library and choose what the next month's read is to be. We then discuss it at the next meeting, as well as any other topic that may be of interest to the group.
Meets: 1st Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at leader's home
Costs: Tea/biscuits contribution
10 people maximum in the group. 1 or 2 vacancies.
Crime Novel Reading
Each month we read a crime novel supplied by Orpington library and discuss the book at the next meeting.
Meets: 2nd Monday, 10.15 -11.30 a.m. at Orpington Library
Costs: £15 per year, paid to the library

True Crime Books Discussion
Each month we read a "True crime" book and discuss the book at the next meeting.
Meets: 4th Tuesday, 10.15 -12 noon at Leader's house
