British Monarchy - Members take it in turn to present a monarch which involves some preparation/research.
Enlightenment to Romanticism - History of 18th to 19th Century including: Philosophy, Music, Theatre, Religion, Science, Social History etc.
Family History - There is a theme for each meeting e.g. family names, dating wedding photographs, school days, dress, transport, and everyone tries to do something towards the research.
History - We choose a general title (this year it is Great Cities of the Past), within which each member chooses a topic which interests them and works it up into a talk.
Industrial Archaeology - A varied programme, including visits to industrial heritage sites, films, lectures, a 5 day trip in the summer and an annual lunch.

Women Achievers - We look at women who have made an achievement in different fields chronologically, currently women painters. Each member is expected to make a contribution about every third month.
