At the close of the conference we are arranging a free guided tour of the ORNC site with a special emphasis on the women who have helped to shape its history. This will be on a first come first served basis.We are returning to the Old Royal Naval College for a Network conference marking the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage and which will also look at the effect on women's roles in society.
We have a great panel of speakers which include Bridget Prentice who will chair the day; Dr Anne Dinsdale on the John Stuart Mill Petition; Dr Claire Eustance on Suffragettes in Trousers; Meghan Dobney on The Pankhursts; Lynne Dixon on Women and Housing; Diane Deudney on Women and Art and Theresa Pearce MP on being a woman MP.
Our venue is a different lecture theatre in King William Court, Old Royal Naval College Greenwich. The new theatre will provide better acoustics than last year and there will be more space for lunch.
Tickets will be £26 which includes refreshments and a buffet lunch. You can pay either by cheque or by Bank Transfer see the form.
Last year we sold out and we know this event will also be well supported so if you wish to attend you should book using the booking form attached as soon as possible.
