Monthly General Meeting at Crofton Halls

The Gut Bacteria and Your Immune System - Professor Thomas Clarke, Imperial College

Following the latest relaxation of the COVID restrictions we are pleased to announce that Professor will be delivering his talk  at Crofton Halls.  There will not be a meeting on Zoom.

Professor Clarke studied biochemistry at the University of Warwick eventually gaining a PhD in the subject. He moved to Pennsylvania School of Medicine USA as a researcher and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Microbiology and Immunology at Imperial College London.  He is presently studying how Microbes, that live on and in us, protect us against infection by some of the most problematic pathogens and will give an overview of this area of research.

We appreciate that some of you will not feel comfortable to return to the hall yet and others will want to wear a mask but we hope to see as many of you as possible.
