29 Years as a Volunteer at The Globe Theatre - Irmgard Tonolo

In 1995 there was a small notice in the Times Educational Supplement.  It invited people to volunteer at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre in Southwark.  Irmgard did not know anything about this.  As she was working in a second language, she thought she would not understand Shakespeare's language.  But she phoned for information and was asked to come to a meeting.  She was accepted and is still a volunteer there after 29 years.  It has greatly enriched her life and she would like to share some of this with you.
