Travels in Underground, Including the New Elizabethan Line - Carole Blacher
Carol (a member of Bromley u3a) and her friend Judy (Sevenoaks u3a) have written three books about travelling the underground. They pick a line and travel along it, getting off at every station and exploring the immediate surrounding area. Their first was the Northern Line, then they tackled the Jubilee Line and their most recent trip was along the Hammersmith and City Line, which they will talk about today.
They will have copies of their books on sale after the presentation for anyone interested in finding out more.
