Shoreham Circular Walk - Wednesday 18th December

Over 20 members of the Walks Interest Group met bright and early, 10am at Shoreham Village car park, for a 3.5 mile circular walk. We ventured through woodland and farmland with panoramic views of Wealden and the Darenth River Valley. We also passed Shoreham Cross War memorial.  It was muddy under foot in places but a lovely sunny morning enjoyed by us all. Afterwards we had lunch at Ye Olde George Inn in Shoreham Village. Our thanks go to Barbara and Richard who organised this great walk.

Next month's walk, on Wednesday 15 January, will be a 3 mile circular walk around Chelsfield, The walk will be mostly on paths and fields, fairly flat, some inclines, no stiles.  This group is open to all members of Orpington U3A.  Anyone interested should see the Walks Interest Group page for details.
